Jennifer Battaglia, WHNP-BC
Jennifer Battaglia WHNP-BC is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program. She has over ten years of nursing experience and a vast knowledge base of women’s health. She has been trained to provide women’s health services that embrace the healthcare needs of a woman throughout her lifespan. She truly enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level.
Out of the office, Jennifer enjoys spending quality time with her husband Damiano and her three boys. She loves watching her boys play sports, reading a great book, traveling, and going to dinner with friends.
Kacey Kersting, WHNP-BC
Kacey graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s in Nursing and then obtained her Master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery and a Post-Master’s certificate in Women’s Health from UC. She has ten years of experience caring for women across the lifespan and managing a wide range of women’s health issues. She worked on one of the state’s busiest labor and delivery units for three years and then worked as a Nurse Midwife for over seven years.
Kacey strives not only to provide the best care possible, but also to get to know her patients on a personal level. This commitment is obvious to Kacey’s patients, many of whom have remarked how easy she is to talk to and how comfortable they feel with her. Whether it is your first gynecological visit or you want to discuss menopausal symptoms, Kacey can’t wait to meet you and take care of you.
When Kacey is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family. Kacey and her husband Jeff were delighted to expand their family by welcoming boy/girl twins in 2012. When Kacey has a spare moment, she enjoys reading, going to the movies and traveling.
Amanda Treon, CNM
Amanda graduated from The University of CIncinnati in 2007 with her Master’s of Science in Nursing and received national certification in Midwifery. She has been practicing as a full scope Midwife for nine years. Amanda has a vast knowledge base in women’s health; caring for women of all ages throughout their lifespan. Midwives know a lot more than just babies!
She is married and has two very active boys, Dylan and Connor. In her free time she is either at one of her kid’s sporting events, in the gym or on her boat! Amanda is passionate about health and fitness and is currently involved in CrossFit as well as bodybuilding. An interesting fact about her is that she has competed in three body building competitions in the past.
Whitney Vangen WHNP-BC
Whitney is a graduate from the University of Cincinnati’s Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program. She completed her program in 2007 and has since widened her passion for Women’s Health Care in various ways. She spent several years on a Women’s Specialty Floor caring for patients post-operatively for gynecological and cosmetic surgeries, antepartum and postpartum care.
In her years of experience she has enjoyed working with a diverse population who come to her with a wide array of needs. Whitney’s inviting and comforting personality truly shines here at Amy Brenner MD & Associates. With so many of women’s health needs being extremely personal and difficult, her compassionate care will be sure to put you at ease. Whitney’s ultimate reward is seeing women improve their lives because of the care she provides.
Outside of the office, Whitney enjoys spending time with her husband Matt and three children Austin, MaKenna and Anniston. She enjoys quiet activities like reading a good book and watching movies but her more adventurous side thrives on sports activities, traveling and fantasy football!
