A safe, widely-tested and FDA approved way to take years off your face.
Botox® is an injection that temporarily treats dynamic wrinkles. These dynamic wrinkles are formed with various facial expressions such as scowling, squinting or raising eyebrows. Botox® works by blocking the signal from the nerve to the muscle, which reduces muscle activity and temporarily prevents contraction of the muscles that cause wrinkles. Preventative treatment is also recommended to relax the muscles to keep wrinkles from forming.
The most common areas treated are:
- Glabella — the area in between the eyebrows
- Crow’s Feet
- Smokers Lines
- Eyebrow Lift
- Wrinkles on the Nose
- Neck Lines / Wrinkling

Check out these videos that show the 10 day progression after treating with Botox or Dysport…
Why Botox to treat wrinkles?
Plain and simple – it works! It’s quick, painless and gives results with no daily upkeep. Treatment usually takes about 5 minutes and results last anywhere between 3-4 months.
Is there down time?
After treatment there is essentially no downtime! There is no surgery and no recovery time. Injection sites may be red for a few minutes and small bruises occur in very few patients. We advise patients not to lie down for the first few hours after treatment.
Does it hurt?
Patients report treatment about a 1-2 on the 1-10 pain scale and feels like a quick pinch. The needles used are very small, 3/8 of an inch (the same size as an insulin needle).
Will my face look “frozen”?
No. We aim to reduce and rid wrinkles when you make a “mean-face,” scowl face, etc. Treatment will not rid you of the ability to make those expressions. We consult with you before treatment and talk about your personal skin care goals.
How much does it cost?
Cost is dependent on your skin care goals and what or how many areas you would like treated. Cost is also affected by the severity of wrinkles.
I have more wrinkle concerns such as: marionette lines around my mouth, lines around my lips, and thin lips, is there anything to help those areas?
Yes! Different from neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers literally “fill” those areas that have lost tissue volume. Laser treatments, Collagen Induction Therapy and chemical peels are also used to soften or remove wrinkles that are already present.
